The PermaFoam Comfort latex-free foam wound dressing by Hartmann USA provides an foam layer that effectively absorbs wound exudate and wicks fluid away from the wound bed to help prevent maceration of the skin and promote an optimal healing environment. Featuring a waterproof outer membrane that affords protection from external bacteria and contaminants, PermaFoam Comfort provides the highest moisture vapor transmission rate ("MVTR") among foam wound dressings. Soft and comfortable, PermaFoamComfort easily conforms to body contours such as elbows, ankles and other areas that are difficult to dress. The adhesive backing ensures that the dressing will stay in place to provide consistent wound bed protection.
Indicated for use on medium to heavily exudating wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
